Inspirational Images

This print image was created by Scott Hansen. It combines vector and raster components and has an interesting mix of colors.

This scene is entitled Matrix IV, and was designed by Erwin Redl. His entire Matrix series makes use of light diodes arranged as a graph. The arrangement creates an interesting map of space, and a very eerie effect when viewed from afar.

Subplants 5 by Katrin Petursdottir Young. This image uses only a single hue, but makes great use of gradients and tone. The sharp borders make the image look like a stylized cartoon.

This image is by Drez, a graphic designer based in Budapest. His images use few colors, but lots of lines and shapes to create a sense of chaos.

Edvard Scott. An interesting use of shape and color. Highly abstract, organic shapes.

John McFaul. The theme for this image seems to be imagination. The colors give the image a dreamlike quality, yet the shapes and photographed animals make the image very busy, almost cluttered. It's hard to focus on any one part of the image until you notice the face in the corner.

Welcome to the wild world of the digital production process. This blog will document my progress from basic concept to finished short film on DVD. Wish me luck!

This blog is for my Digital Production Process class at NYU SCPS. For now, kudos to anyone who can identify where my profile's image comes from (without doing an Internet search, that is).
